The
Universal Home Remote System or Universal Garage Door Opener (UGDO) on some
2010 Camaro models may not function properly due to a connection that is not
fully seated at the UGDO transmitter module.
Verify
power to the module by pressing any UGDO button and check that the LED
illuminates. If the LED does not illuminate, remove the overhead console and
check for battery voltage at the UGDO connector. If there is power at the UGDO
connector, disconnect and reconnect the UGDO connector and secure with a tie
strap.
TIP: For proper clearance,
be sure the tie strap is positioned away from the overhead console locator (Fig. 14, A) and behind the screw (Fig. 15, B) as shown.
Verify
LED operation by pressing any UGDO button and reassemble the overhead console.
